General Information: Immerse Program
What is the Immerse Program?
IMMERSE brings classes to the GRPM for a full week so that students can use the Museum as their
classroom and take their love of learning to a new level. The Museum’s IMMERSE Program provides a
completely immersive, week-long learning experience for schools from the West Michigan region. The
program is intended to help students jump start their development as problem solvers, communicators,
collaborators and innovators.
Who Will be Participating in the Immerse Program?
All LMA students who are in elementary or middle school will be participating in the immerse program.
When is the Immerse Program?
LMA staff and students will be participating Immerse program at the GRPM from January 11-15, 2016.
Although we will only be at the museum for one week, we will spend a lot of time in class throughout the
year preparing for what we will experience while at the museum.
